Bryan leads a core team of senior search professionals located in all the major financial capitals of the world. He and his team were chosen because of the breadth of their experience and their knowledge of their individual markets. The truly international nature of financial services and the mobility of senior executives within it are matched by the global coverage of this core group.
In addition to extensive executive search experience, most of the members of this group have held senior executive roles within the financial services industry.
Immediately prior to taking up executive search in 1993, Bryan was CEO of New Zealand operations for the State Bank of South Australia. Business activities included full markets trading operations, corporate and retail banking and a highly regarded M & A and investment banking group.
Bryan began his career in the financial services industry as a money market trader for a subsidiary of Chase Manhattan Bank, followed by a move to a corporate banking role with an affiliate of Wells Fargo Bank. He then joined a major New Zealand merchant banking group with offices in NZ, Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong, as General Manger of Corporate Banking. He subsequently became a founding Director with executive responsibilities for the total loan book of the New Zealand business of Security Pacific Bank NA. He has served on the Council of the New Zealand Bankers Association and numerous Boards.
For leisure, Bryan divides his time between big game fishing as co-owner of an ocean going sport fishing yacht and plays golf. Highlights have included catching a 250lb Marlin on 30lb tackle and playing golf on the Old Course at St Andrews. He and his wife Christine, a sports administrator, have two adult children and a spoilt dog. |  | |
